About Tiffany 

Tiffany Huertas is currently a writer for WSVN, the FOX affiliate in Miami, Fla. 

Huertas has been practicing journalism for the past six years.
Her first internship was on the summer of 2009, where she interned for MTV Networks. Tiffany interned for NBC Miami last summer producing for the 5 p.m. newscast and anchored the annual intern newscast. Tiffany was also in the first class of Media Futures program for Telemundo Networks. She spent two semesters learning the in's and out's of the news business. 

She has reported from Washington D.C at the USSA Legislative Conference for Florida International Universities news. She reported on the undocumented students in the United States and the issues they face, including the Dream Act. Her story was published in several outlets across the U.S. 

Tiffany Huertas graduated from Florida International University with a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications along with a minor in Tourism and Political Science in 2011.
